Out of all of the holidays this one makes me feel the absolute worst. Its for the most part a painful reminder that I'm still single (like I needed reminding) and that there is a dirth of flowers, chocolate and jewelry in my life. It has good intentions but it fails miserably (kind of like Communism!). So today, I'll spend the rest of the day brooding to myself, crying "Abba! Why have thou foresaken me?" and being generally miserable.

Have faith. I was in my late 20's and met the love of my life (and for my generation that was considered very late in life!). We were together for 25 years. He died 3 years ago in a car accident and now I have had to re-invent myself all over again....single once more.
Single sucks, I know... but you are talented, beautiful and full of life... that can only attract love...lots of it. So don't fret, have faith and your dreams will come true... I know!
